References to these exchanges describe technical integrations made possible through each exchange's publicly available developer API. Displaying an exchange's name or logo indicates only that ClearJournal supports syncing trade data from that exchange — it does not imply a business partnership, endorsement, or other formal relationship. All exchange names, logos, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

We Are Not an Exchange, Broker, or Wallet

ClearJournal does not buy, sell, hold, custody, exchange, or facilitate the trading of cryptocurrency on behalf of any user. We are a data and record-keeping tool: we import a user's own historical trade data from exchanges they already use, for journaling, organization, and performance analytics.

Read-Only Access & Account Security

ClearJournal connects to supported exchanges exclusively through read-only API keys generated by the user themselves. A read-only key allows us to view and import trade history only — it does not grant ClearJournal, or anyone else, the ability to place trades, withdraw or transfer funds, or change account settings on the exchange. We never ask for a user's exchange password, withdrawal permissions, or private keys.
